Nice college ,it has a very big infrastructure. All the facilities for boys and girls like 3 hostel for boys 1 hostel for girls.You can say it is located on educational heart of Bishnupur because you are going to get all the educational institutes surrounding this College like Bishnupur high school, primary school and Ramananda College and yes how can I forget about the very popular High School More you can have Adda as long as you want in night.But K.G.E.I hostle's guys are not very lucky in this case because of their strict hostle rules.Founded by Mr.Krista Gopal Ghosh.As from the founder's name it is named as K.G.Engineering Institute.Before it was a industrial training school the it wake up as One of the oldest polytechnic,K.G.Engineering Institute. EE,CE,ME,CST & ETC streams are available here.One of the oldest and greatest Polytechnic college in West Bengal. It is established in 1922. It has 5 different stream of engineering like CIVIL, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRONICS & TELE COMMUNICATION, COMPUTER SCIENCE. Facilities are very well. Various cultural programmes are held in this institution. Good accomodation are here. Both boy's and girl's hostel available here.A fantastic college to learn lot of things. Large campus area with green environment. Professors and supports staffs are awesome. 5 engineering trades are available here. Lots of Labs/workshops are available here. Hostel facility also available here. Auditorium & playgrounds are there for entertainment purpose. I think robotics also have been started here from few years ago. New constructions are going on. A fantastic college to learn lot of things. Large campus area with green environment. Professors and supports staffs are awesome. 5 engineering trades are available here. Lots of Labs/workshops are available here. Hostel facility also available here. Auditorium & playgrounds are there for entertainment purpose. I think robotics also have been started here from few years ago. New constructions are going on. Have you seen the new look of KGEI? Please look at my attachments.

One of the oldest and greatest Polytechnic college in West Bengal. It is established in 1922. It has 5 different stream of engineering like CIVIL, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRONICS & TELE COMMUNICATION, COMPUTER SCIENCE. Facilities are very well. Various cultural programmes are held in this institution. Good accomodation are here. Both boy's and girl's hostel available here.
